Esteron Valley:

This is the region of cluses, chasms, and gazebo villages still living an ancestral pace life. You can discover the exceptional view of the coastline from the summit of Mont Vial and from Cheiron.

Var Valley:

This is the place of the famous "Train des Pignes".

Gorges of Cians and Daluis:

The country of great gorges. Cashed, and deeply carved by the waters in the red shale gorges, they lead to Beuil Valberg or Peone and, to the Entraunes Valley, the Pelens needles and the Col de la Cayolle.

Tinee Valley:

The highest alpine mountain; its north side houses the main ski resorts of the department: Auron and Isola 2000.The south area, lower and steeper, has many picturesque villages.

Vesubie Valley:

A natural sanctuary between heaven, land, and sea. It houses in the high-mountain pastures, forests, lakes, waterfalls, and the Gélas culmination of the Maritime Alps. It also leads to other exceptional sites such as Massif Authion, Turini Forest, the Gordolasque Valley the Roya Valley. On the border with Italy, this region offers many high peaks, gorges, forests, vast high mountain pastures, perched villages (Saorge), painted chapels (La Brigue), baroque churches (Breil, Sospel, Tende) and rock carvings in the Vallée des Merveilles, offering an important historical richness while living water in the gorges of the Roya meets the expectations of most athletes.

The County of Nice, between sea and mountain:

The hills of the Nice are the setting for old perched villages, full of traditions, legends, and pilgrimages. These landscapes of terraced cultivation, with olive groves or the sweetness of Provencal villages, offer a subtle blend of the Alps and Provence regions.

Walkers' will enjoy.

  • 5 of 5

Comfortable property well equipped inside and out (except for drying cloths!). We had an excellent 12 days using the villa as a base. The village is quiet at night in late summer but is an excellent base for walkers as there are many marked paths in the area and wider region. For us Bouyon was central to visiting places as far afield as Castelanne and Gorges du Verdon to Menton and Antibes on the coast.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your nice appreciation. For drying cloths there is a clothes line in the back of the house and the tumble dryer to cotè of the washing machine, or may be it was not you well if the water tray n ' is not empty! best regards the owner

Angenehme Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage

  • 5 of 5

Sehr empfehlenswert!

  • 5 of 5
