About this property

Even the locals say "Wow" when they see our views! Situated in the heart of Maggie Valley high above the clouds with an elevation of 4900 ft. Sit back and relax on the deck with 2.5 acres of privacy located behind a community gate above the Maggie Valley Club. Convenient to go explore the area or we have some guests that do there grocery shopping and never want to leave the property.

We recommend all-wheel drive or 4 x 4 to easily access the property. The road is paved all the way up until you arrive at our driveway which is gravel.

Stunning views and awesome hospitality

This is our second time visiting this property and it exceeded expectations once again! This is the perfect slice of heaven for individuals to choose for their getaway, whether you're trying to spend time with the family or just enjoy the surroundings to yourself. The views are stunning and the community is very peaceful. The owner was also very welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. We can't wait to visit again next year!

Best part - SPECTACULAR VIEWS!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Brian answered our MANY separate questions almost immediately; he was so kind and helpful. Sometimes pictures don't really tell the story, but we found that the pictures on the listing were very accurate. We were so relieved and thrilled. We cannot say enough about the mountain views - so beautiful and breathtaking. They had many different looks - depending on the time of day - and all were just gorgeous. Views like that bring an unexplainable sense of peace - sooooo welcome and needed on this break from "normal". We enjoyed days on the Blue Ridge Parkway, kayaking on and walking around Lake Junaluska, and shopping in Asheville, Maggie Valley and Waynesville. We also enjoyed lots of R&R just hanging out at the house in front of a cozy fire. Thank you for everything. We would love to return someday!

Great view

Comfy beds, SO clean. The view is outstanding, especially at night. Lots of stars. Recommend all wheel drive for the driveway, and there is not a lot of light in the house, so take some extra lighting if you want to read or play games at night. Very warm inside when it is cold. We had lots of fun here.

Great views but outdated cabin.

The cabin needs work. Poor lighting inside and out, plumming makes all type of noices, bedroom windows unable to open; they have sticky notes asking you not to open them.
