We spend a week in Cape May most years renting homes through out the town. This was our first time bringing our dog to Cape May and thankfully we were able to find a house that would allow pets. Thank you to the owners who were very easy to communicate with before and throughout the stay.
the house had lots of character and charm!
Plenty of room. Great front porch!!
Walked and biked everywhere.
Long Weekend at Longfellow House
Your advertisement is correct Longfellow House is the perfect family vacation home. Our family spent Friday 9/8-Tues 9/12 celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and my husbands 60th birthday, The house was just right to accommodate our children and immediate nieces/nephews and friends. The house was quaint in an enchanted kind of way. We all enjoyed every moment spent on the front porch watching horse and buggies pass. The short walks to the Washington street mall and or to the beach were easy and always interesting. The linen service was well worth the money. The only bad thing was that our schedules didn't allow for a full week here. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us.
PS: We took many great family photos on the porch steps. I'll send one soon.
Hi Kelly, thank you for the kind words. We're happy you had a great time staying at the house for your special family celebration. We enjoyed having you. It's always great for us to see other families enjoy the unique qualities of Hughes Street, our home, and Cape May, the same way we did growing up. You're welcome back any time so come back again and next time stay a full week!
