La Casa de la Burra (the house of the donkey) was a stable of animals originally, built at the end of the XIX century. In their restoration has been respected the traditional “majorera” local architecture integrating it in the landscape. The house is small but very welcoming and all their services are respectful with the environment (solar energy for the sanitary hot water and biological purification of residual waters taken advantage for watering).
It is a special place to rest and to relax, without noises and isolated of the urban centers, that allows to enjoy the serenity and tranquility that it still has the island of Fuerteventura.
The environment of the rural house is a beautiful flat place with soft hills, typical of the central area of the island. The vegetation is also the typical of the island: tuneras, piteras, palms, aloe, gorses and some fruit-bearing like figs, grenadiers and others.
