Imagine your family relaxing in a perfect lakeside cottage on one of the prettiest, most exclusive, spots on Sebago Lake, just at the base of Raymond Cape. Our location on the eastern shore of Sebago allows for viewing of glorious sunsets (especially in September!). Unobstructed views from the living room, screened-in porch, outdoor deck and terrace, as well as from our private dock allow you to see beyond the Dingley Islands and on up to Frye Island past some of the finest real estate on Sebago Lake, as well as across to Maine's beautiful western foothills. Your family will enjoy gathering by the wood-burning fireplace (we even supply the firewood!) in the bright living room with cathedral ceilings and comfortable seating. Cook delicious meals in the updated kitchen (gas range and new stainless steel appliances, plus an outdoor gas grill!) and enjoy them from the dining table which overlooks the lake, on the screened-in porch or outside on our lakeside picnic table. In the evening enjoy s'mores around our lakeside fire pit. Our cottage features two main floor bedrooms (one with king bed, one with a queen bed) and an expansive lower level "kids room" with 2 beds, sitting area with cable TV, brand new gas fireplace, and sunny windows. Each floor has a full bath. All linens and towels are provided. Swim from your private dock or from our small sandy beach in beautiful Sebago Lake, one of the most pristine lakes in Maine. A canoe and kayak come with the house, along with required lifejackets. Rent a boat from a nearby marina so that you can enjoy cruising the lake or waterskiing!

HomeAway Sebago Lake Getaway!
What a wonderful 34th anniversary celebration! On that first October morning, we were the only two people on the lake, paddling between the islands ablaze with yellows and oranges, the water as clear as glass, and the sky a watercolor swirl of blue and white, we the fell in love with Sebago Lake. It rained the next day, but we stoked the logs in the cabin's fireplace and hunkered down for a luxurious afternoon of reading, but only after tracking down a hardware store in Raymond to purchase an extension cord for $3.99, then relocating a couple of floor lamps behind the couch. Our only complaint would be the bed. How we wish that HomeAway had a bed rating for their rentals. Had we known the mattress would be so hard, we would have brought our own foam pad to cushion these old bones. Otherwise, this cabin has everything one could need for an intimate getaway.
Perfect for a fall getaway! Fireplace, outdoor pit, canoes, fishing, and we even conquered a great local hike. Highly recommend
Spectacular view, perfect cove, great cabin
We had a wonderful stay! The cabin somehow has both rustic charm and a resort feel. Lots of privacy with all the amenities you need to make your stay easy and comfortable. There were many wildlife visitors to the beach and waterfront - ducks, mergansers, blue herons, and loons. The canoe and kayaks let us enjoy even more of the lake. Beds were super comfortable, blankets and pillows abundant, and the kitchen was great to cook in. We’ve spent a lot of time all around Sebago Lake and this cabin Is certainly one of our favorites. Thanks for making our stay comfortable and clean! We look forward to visiting again!!
Fantastic cozy house, exactly as advertised
This house was comfortable, well equipped and well maintained. Great location on the lake. Nice to have a house that matches (or exceeds) the online pictures and description. Thanks for a great stay.
Thank you so much! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We hope to have you visit again!
Absolutely wonderful place… I would highly recommend it!
Even though I think our stay here was a wonderful experience I would like to say there was no raft with a ladder or stairs near the dock for any egress from the water. Just one more thing there were 3 couples (6 people) the toaster was only for two you need to upgrade your toaster. Absolutely wonderful place… I would highly recommend it!
Thank you for visiting our home and for this thoughtful review. Good news for a future visit; the dock ladder has been replaced, and we are toaster shopping!!! It's only fair that everyone gets a warm bagel at the same time!
We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at our "wonderful place", and hope to welcome you again to Sebago Lake.
Very nice house, but severe humidity and ventilation problem in basement
Nice little beach, but hard to get to. Also, a swim ladder at the end of the dock would have been nice. House beds were great and the kitchen was fine, although the built in microwave did not work. You might want to consider a ceiling fan in the living room.
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay in our lake home. We wish we could have better alleviated (all over New England, in fact!) that record breaking temperature streak in August and hope that the dehumidifier and the lake proximity afforded some relief. We were pleased to replace the microwave with a counter version immediately upon learning of the malfunction of the built-in (a new built-in has now been installed) and hope you got good use from it. The second ladder is being mounted today and your thought of a ceiling fan to augment the others in the house is a good idea also. Your suggestions are most welcome and we hope to hear from you and see you again on Sebago Lake.
