This was our 2nd stay in Old Esmore Cottage and the welcome and hospitality from Gerard the owner is 2nd to none, it's with out a doubt the best property of it's type we have ever been to very, very well equipped and comfortable will differently be returning.
Beautiful, charming, historic property. Close to many pubs, day trips. Great walking trail. Owner greeted us with biscuits, jam and clotted cream; ask him about the history of the property! We would definitely stay here again.
Spacious cottage in beautiful location
Our family of four had plenty of space in this lovely cottage. Great scenic location opposite a path along the coast and only a few minutes drive from Carlingford and Omeath. Plenty of things to do nearby. Well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Gerard was a generous host and the scones and cake on arrival were much appreciated!
Fall Wedding in Ireland
Old Essmore Cottage was everything and more than expected. The cottage was warm and charming. A perfect getaway fora traveler who wants to experience Ireland. Gerard was the most gracious host we have ever encountered. Upon entry into the cottage, the dinner table was packed with scones, pastries, and breads. Gerard saw to our every need.
Awesome location and Gerard was an amazing host!
