The house is rented complete but you can check accommodation by rooms. It is on the Camino de Santiago.
It is an old farmhouse reformed in 2008 conserving all the old building elements. beams, doors and windows, platforms, quarters. And furniture. The chimney of smoking the chorizos of the slaughter in the kitchen has also been conserved that now serves to make barbecues and the manger that is in the living room and gives name to the house. Now that block has been converted into a spacious living room and the restored manger has become the reason for the name of the house. All the furniture follows a rustic line and many of them are old restored
It has achieved a comfortable house with a very rustic and cozy atmosphere, a real rural house.
The town, Atapuerca, has about 100 inhabitants and is quiet, but still there is "movement" along the Camino de Santiago, the Yacimientos de Atapuerca and a series of activities that are organized throughout the year: Atapercu (in July, series of international percussion concerts), Battle of Atapuerca (in August, popular representation and medieval fair), Cross de Atapuerca (international, the second of Spain in importance and first of the season, in November)
It is a good place to go with children, there are chickens in front of the house, a fence with horses in the meadows behind the church, a burrito, etc. And for the most athletic there is basketball court, we put the ball!
