Great Location and Comfortable.
This is a wonderful place to stay while in St. Andrews on a golf vacation. Myself and 3 friends stayed here while playing golf in the Fife area. It is centrally located to the St. Andrews Links and Market Street (Pubs, Testco, etc). The beds and furniture are very comfortable and has plenty of room to stretch out. Free on-street parking makes traveling to other courses easy as well. I would recommend to anyone visiting St. Andrews.

Nikki and Ian's place is fantastic! I was there with my parents for a six day golf trip to St. Andrews. The Hope St. location is absolutely perfect. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the Old Course 18th green as well as pubs, restaurants, and shops on Market, South, and North St. The place is very spacious and has amenities that you need for a stay (paper towels, dish soaps, laundry detergent, cooking utensils, etc). I would highly recommend staying here! Thank you for everything.
Perfect location for The Old Course and St. Andrews
We are a family of four with two adult children in their 20's. This basement apartment has been updated and is modern, clean and convenient. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood, less than 5 minutes from the first tee of The Old Course. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops within a short walk, also less than 5 minutes. There is plenty of room for golf club storage. Street parking was available and worked well for us.
Love this flat!
We have rented quite a few vacation rentals all over Europe and the US and this has been the best so far! We booked this flat for a visit to our daughter who is studying at St. Andrews University. The location is perfect; a 1 minute walk to town or to the Old Course (we are golfers too!). When we arrived we were welcomed with a basket of goodies including bread and coffee which made it very nice for the next morning as we arrived quite late at night. The flat was spacious, clean, and fully equipped. There were even tablets for the dishwasher. A very nice touch. We will definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!!!!
GREAT flat for the family in heart of St. Andrews
This is a great place to call home while you are in St. Andrews. Newly renovated, well furnished and kept very clean. The gift basket in the kitchen supplied us with tea and coffee to refresh us after a long trip from the U.S. The location (two streets from the bus station) allowed easy walking access to Tesco for groceries, pubs , restaurants, shops and all of the local sites; including the histroric golf courses and British Golf Museum!
Nikki and Ian left great notes on using the utilities, including WIFI.
The ancient town of St Andrews is one of the most famous in Britain and home of Scotland’s oldest, and the world's fifth oldest, University which was founded in 1411. Other historic places of interest are the magnificent ruins of the Cathedral and Castle. These are open to visitors and command a spectacular view over two beaches and seafront.
St Andrews is the home of golf and hosts the Royal and Ancient Golf Club and the prestigious Old Course. The apartment is a mere two minute walk to the first tee on the Old Course and the world famous collection of six Links Courses. In addition, there are over twenty well known golf courses within a twenty minute drive.
The Old Course and Fairmont Hotels provide nearby fine dining experiences and spa treatments, and St Andrews itself has a myriad of restaurants and shops.
Entertainment is provided in many of the local bars in addition to the Byre Theatre and local cinema.
Other activities available include tennis, walking (beaches and forests), sailing and fishing.
