Our apartment is in the city center, the building dates from the 1800s it is classified UNESCO, and bourgeois it is bright with cheerful colors, you appreciate the large bed with its memory mattress very comfortable, in the independent room and in the other room two twin beds of one person, the apartment is on the 5th floor with elevator, with double glazing, the street is quiet, all the equipment is new and very good quality, you will have free broadband WIFI in the whole apartment .It will be possible for you to have a parking space with a supplement

Between the Rhone and Saone you can walk or bike for the more sporty .It is also possible in summer to sip an aperitif or a fruit juice with a pancake, at the foot of the building on a shaded terrace

The subway and the bus are at the bottom of the building, Perrache station is 3 metro stops away and you can take the tram (C3) which is direct to Part-Dieu train station

Parking is at your disposal with a supplement

Good but expensive

The location is excellent near to stores and metro and bus station.everything was very good ,the appartement was clean and well equipped.just one probleme.the electricity and water price is not included in rental fee ,it is very hard for tourists to saving money for paying in last days we paid 230 euros in last nights for electricity and water . That was better if the price of water and electricity was included in rental fee.

Owner's Response: The prices are imposed by the avrious organizations they are explained at the arrivals to the tenants It is impossible to include them in the price of the rental , not knowing in adance the consumptions . They are very variable from one tenant to another See you sooon

Good experience overall, but caveat emptor

This was 1 of 2 apartments we rented for over 2 weeks during the 2016 Euros. This apartment was well situated, within walking distance of many sights, restaurants, shopping, and a daily outdoor market.

It was very thoughtfully equipped with items not usually found in a rental apartment. The appliances were all new. The owners were very considerate, showing us around the neighborhood. They even offered to show us a nearby village our last weekend there. The deposit was returned very quickly.

The 19th century building has a dark, long passageway to access the elevator. The primary occupants of the building are small businesses. Small by US standards (and much smaller than our other apartment that cost the same), the room layout is a bit odd. But it has a quaintance and charm that we really enjoyed.

There were only a few things that tarnished our experience.

First, it was surprisingly noisy. Even though there are few restaurants or drinking establishments below us, the ones that were nearby had loud patrons. There were motorcycles riding up and down the street in the middle of the night. Some, maybe all of this can be explained by the Euro fans celebrating, so the experience should be different at other times.

Second, the apartment does not have air conditioning, contrary to what is advertised in the apartment's description. Hopefully the owners will correct this misinformation. There were a few very hot days where the supplied fans were not enough; opened windows led to insect bites.

Last, the owners charge for water and electricity, and the rates are extremely high. Our mistake was not getting a firm quote on the costs before making the reservation. When the rates were quoted to us when taking possession, it seemed like they were made up on the spot.

We checked the prices for electricity in Lyon after returning home, and the owner's cost was 35% of what they charged us, and that was the Lyon prime rate cost. Even though we did not occupy the apartment for 3 days, the charge amounted to about 340 euros. Remember, no A/C. We ran laundry at night, and did not use the clothes dryer.

We understand owners doubling their normal rental rates because of special events like the Euros, but to charge so much for electricity and water left a bad taste. My only suggestion to them is to raise their daily rates and include the electricity/water charges. Most travellers would prefer not to be surprised by a big bill like this.

Terrific short term stay in Lyon

My family moved from Australia to Lyon and we stayed at the property for 6 weeks until we had permanent accommodation. It was warm, comfortable and close to transport, restaurants and shopping. Monoprix is only about 100 metres away for everything you need if you want to cook in the apartment. There was good wardrobe space for clothes and we were able to fully unpack our bags and settle in. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. Many thanks to Catherine and Eric for being such wonderful hosts and providing everything we needed. If you want to stay in the heart of Lyon, this is it!

un coin extraordinaire,propre,parfaitement équipé

Très bel appartement .Les photographies sont fidéles , l'appartement est très bien équipé, à 2 pas de la station des Cordeliers, très central.

Les propriétaires sont très sympatiques et nous ont permis de decouvrir la ville et sa gastronomie.

Nous sommes résté un mois dans l'appartement , nous avions l'impression d'être chez nous.

Notre petite famille a passé de très bonnes vacances dans ce logement confortable .

Je le recommande à tous .
