Welcome to "Rest of Don Quixote", Rural House located in the beautiful and quiet town of Belmonte, in the province of Cuenca, in the heart of the Ruta del Quijote.
Our house has a capacity for 10 people. It consists of 5 large rooms type "suite" (double and double). All rooms have a separate bathroom and television. In addition, it has a large living room, fully equipped kitchen and a Castilian patio.
The house has been decorated combining elements of architecture and typical La Mancha decoration with the personal style of the owners.
Belmonte has important points of tourist interest, among which its Castle of the XV Century, one of the most photogenic in Spain and the true distinctive mark of the area, and La Colegiata de San Bartolomé. The sunsets and sunsets in Belmonte seen from its majestic Castle are spectacular.
The castle has been the setting for the filming of numerous films, including "El Cid" (1951) starring Charlton Heston and Sofia Loren, who stayed in our town during the filming.
Belmonte is an ideal location for day trips. Some interesting options are: Cuenca (1 h 15 min.), Wind Mills of Mota del Cuervo (15 min.), El Toboso: Casa de Dulcinea (25 min.), Windmills of Campo de Criptana (35 min. ), Lagunas de Ruidera (1 h 30 min.), Villaescusa de Haro (10 min.), Roman Ruins of Segóbriga (45 min.), Uclés (Monastery) (1h 10 min.).
