Went with 10 people and the house easily accommodate us all. The property it self was great for a peaceful and relaxing long weekend. Outdoor activity’s not far at all for drive. Town is bout 15 mins away. Would definitely go back!
Great relaxing space
We took a small group of student leaders up here for a retreat the house was perfect. They loved the game room and playing in the creek. The house has a few spaces that worked for meeting times and group talks. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home.
Felt like home!!!
Spending family time together is the most precious “gift” we can give each other...and this cabin provided the venue to play, eat and sleep under the same roof to make awesome memories. Loved the ping pong, pool and basketball. The creek provided dam building, wading and floating down the waves in tubes. Adirondack chairs are plentiful and allow socializing around the creek border, around the fire pit and watching the young and old “kids” play.
Thank you for sharing such a lovely home.
Thank you, Nancy! We are so glad you had a wonderful stay at Cornerstone Lodge! We hope your family will stay with us again!
Old beds, ripped couch, manger bothered us every day
Beware of manager. When we booked the cabin it was NOT stated that only 4 people were included in the price. Why would I get such a big cabin for four people? So they watched us on the camera each day to see how many people were there to charge an extra $25 PER DAY PER PERSON!!. Then they called, emailed, and texted me several times a day until they got more money. I see they have changed the description now. We have rented many cabins but have never been harassed like this. The fees were already more than other sites. Did my almost 90 year old grandma coming with us really cost them any extra?? Give me a break.
When you arrived, you loved Cornerstone Lodge and didn’t have anything bad to say. You paid for 7 guest and showed up with 11. Only when you were contacted about additional payment is when you became so disgruntled with your stay. Our site clearly shows the payment breakdown so you were aware before booking that you paid for 7, not 4. Our site also states Cornerstone Lodge is under 24/7 surveillance. This information has been on our site for months now & is not a recent add. You did not answer any of my calls, texts or emails regarding your additional payment for 2 days. Once the payment was made, I didn’t communicate with you for the rest of your stay. It’s clear from the other honest reviews on here what type of vacation you can expect when staying at Cornerstone Lodge.
Nice, clean, spacious cabin
11 of us stayed for a week. We had a great time. Cabin was easy to find. Kids had fun playing in the creek. There was plenty of room. We enjoyed the firepit. It was close to many attractions. We went to Blue Ridge and Blairsville several times. Owner was very responsive and kind and easy to work with. Had a great vacation and really enjoyed the area.
Thank you, Heather! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay!
