Why Jeffrey Williamson chose Lewes
This property is very nice because of it's location on Mulberry Street in the historic district of Lewes and it's close walking proximity to the downtown business streets as well as the Lewes Rehoboth Canal.
What makes this Condo unique
Mulberry in Lewes is unique because it is a first floor condominium (only three steps to enter). It has high ceilings with large spacious rooms. You will not feel claustrophobic or cramped. It's proximity to town and many activities is of course a huge asset. It has been in my family for twenty years, as it is the place my parents chose to retire.

The place was a perfect place for our family to stay during our wedding weekend. Everything is on one level so was great for my 88 year old mother to get around. The condo was clean and spacious. I highly recommend this place for a family vacation.
We stayed here with our adult children and grandchildren and loved it. The owner was very helpful; he met us at the home, left us fruit, milk, juice, yogurt, and bread. The place was spotless and spacious. There was a great supply of toiletries in the one bathroom. The twin beds in one bedroom were perfect for the grandchildren! You could walk to the beach, but it is also a very short drive. We also appreciated the beach towels and beach chairs that were provided as well as the lovely outdoor deck. Lewes is a great town to be in also. Again, this was a wonderful place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Spacious and comfortable in a relaxing little beach town
I really can’t say enough about how great this apartment is, but I’ll try! My husband and I stayed here with our adult children and grandchildren for a summer vacation. The apartment is quite large, beautifully-furnished, all first-floor, with bright living room, dining room, eat-in kitchen, and two spacious bathrooms. Reports from all our family is that every bed was extremely comfortable. The location was perfect for us—on a quiet charming residential street literally around the corner from the nice village center with its great restaurants, boutiques, a cool bookstore, and ice cream shop. Even our two-year old could walk into town with us. Oh, and there’s also a playground a few blocks away. The bay beach is an easy five-minute ride. People can definitely walk there, but with little kids and lots of beach equipment, it’s best to drive. Nearby Cape Henlopen State Park also has beaches and great walking trails. The drive into Rehoboth was also not bad—took 20-25minutes.
Jeffrey is an excellent host! Always accessible before arrival and after. He met us upon arrival and took us on a thorough walk-through, and also had stocked the fridge and kitchen countertop with plenty of food to get us started—-Juice, coffee, bottled water, bagels, raisin bread. We got the impression right away that we were to enjoy ourselves and be comfortable. It was all just wonderful! We hope to come back!
comfortable and convenient
This is a beautiful property with an extremely gracious host. High ceilings, lovely original hardwood floors, high quality furniture and linens, an easy walk to Lewes and a quick drive (or longer walk) to the beach. Slept 7 adults comfortably. Spacious living room with lots of seating perfect for hanging out in the evening. Also a great little patio area outdoors. Our host provided breakfast bread and bagels, juice, milk, coffee, fruit, toiletries in the bathrooms, even a wonderful selection of books to borrow. We rented it for a bachelorette long weekend. I would definitely stay here again. We had a great time.
Beautiful and relaxing.
Great location to explore Lewes and surrounding beach areas. The house is furnished with both comfort and aesthetics in mind. Perfect for a relaxing family vacation.
Spacious and beautifully decorated and maintained. Just a couple of blocks from downtown Lewes
The building has easy access for older folks using a walker, after just a couple of stairs into the place, a lively restored former church. The owner was helpful and explained the features and had a nice selection of items for an easy breakfast the first day.
