Why Fran and Shiv chose Robertsbridge
We fell in love with 1066 Country during a visit 10 years ago. Despite twists and turns, the many winding paths we have taken eventually led us back to this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. (It was the wooded area at Browns really that did it for Fran!) We’ve now made our home with a herd of rescue horses, our old but sprightly dog, and possibly in the future, some rescue hens and ducks? The adventure continues…
What makes this Farmhouse unique
Paddocks, woods, fields, sheep, mature trees, horses and an open vista to the valley beyond. This is the view that greets us when we wake up in the morning. What's not to love?

A real escape to the country!
Everything from the booking through to arriving at the property went so smoothly. Such a warm and friendly welcome when we arrived at the Farmhouse Annex, we instantly felt at home! The accommodation is superb, offering everything we needed, plus more besides. Lovely quality and homely touches throughout; superbly comfortable beds!
The location is excellent, with views over the paddock to the front and open countryside beyond, where we experienced the most beautiful sunset one evening during our stay. There was the added bonus of being able to watch the horses roaming and frolicking in the paddock (plus the work done daily by Fran and Shiv to keep them fed, watered and happy!)
Thank you Fran and Shiv for providing such a wonderful setting for a few days away with my Mum, we loved it all!
Thank you Sarah and Betty for staying at ours. It was a pleasure :) We're really glad you had a good stay and enjoyed the space. Warmest wishes.
