Two families stayed here during Thanksgiving week. This house had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the game room and the pool. This house was located in great area. It was right down the street from a grocery store and restaurants. It was about a 5 minute drive to Disney. The owner Tony was a pleasure to work with! He answered any questions within a 24 hour period if not sooner. We will definitely keep this home in mind for the next time we visit the Orlando area.
We had stayed in Formosa Gardens before and thought it was the perfect location - lots of space between the villas and very close to Disney and plenty of restaurants. So we were hoping that this villa would be as good as our previous one and we were not disappointed.
The location was excellent, very quiet and relaxing (one day we got home to find 2 herons sitting in the garden, which wouldn't happen in the busier parts of Orlando!)
The villa itself was very well looked-after with excellent facilities, and you could tell that it had recently been redecorated. The reclining sofas in the sitting room are particularly comfortable after a hard day of walking. It has a good layout for extended family groups, with the bedrooms spread out around a large central living/dining area.
My 5 year old daughter loved the Ariel bedroom and the games room, and the pool was a good size for a family.
Some of the equipment in the games room could do to be refurbished (i guess that kids hit the sides of the dartboard more than the middle which causes damage) but it did not limit our enjoyment of the facilities.
Overall I would heartily recommend this villa to anyone.
We booked with Tony who recently purchased the property and we were not dissapointed. The pictures show the house exactly as it is. The pool was excellent and already headed and warm and private . There were lots of movies, games, etc for all to watch and the TV"s all had high def channels. The games room was a little tired but still fun . Tony even had a christmas tree put up for us as our stay was over Christmas and New Years.
The kitchen was fully stocked and clean. ( best we have ever seen) The management was quick to respond to some very minor issues. The beds were confortable and clean all around. Tony was very easy to deal with and helpful and I would recommend this house to anyone. I am a IATA certified travel agent and would stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay in this house at Formosa Gardens.
