Set in the seaside village of Portballintrae, our beautiful 3 bedroom cottage is situated close to the world famous Giant's Causeway. Portballintrae beach is 8 minutes by foot, and the Giant's Causeway can be reached by a fantastic beach and cliff walk or by path a distance of approx 3 Km (or you can also travel a short distance by car or use the tourist train ….. The location is a perfect base for an activity holiday with lots of water sports, paddle boarding , canoeing , swimming and boating at the local harbour and beach. Within walking distance we have a super 9 hole golf course at Bushfoot . A Tennis court is also location in the village also a children’s park and lots of water based activities take place at the harbour over the summer months ………
The cottage comfortably sleeps 5 people, has a family bathroom (with bath and separate shower), and a separate ensuite (with shower) in the main bedroom. The kitchen and utility reside on the top floor of the property with views out over the beautiful countryside.
The cottage has permanent high-speed WiFi connection, and is fully centrally heated, with a big fireplace in the living area. The area offers a variety of activities including cycling, walking, surfing, golfing and canoeing. The Bayview hotel is a 5 minute walk away with good food, drinks and live music at weekends. the world famous Bushmills Inn and Distillery are just 1 mile away within the very pretty village of Bushmills. The village is also fast becoming a very select area with lovely craft shops and fantastic local food and entertainment, a real gem in the heart of the North Coast....
