Peaceful and Relaxing
A lovely property , perfect for our family birthday celebration . John and Bridget were great hosts, the white skylark wine is our new favourite . House was very well equipped with the most comfortable beds .
Thanks Nicola for looking after The Vine House so well. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our sparkling white Skylark wine so much and that you celebrated your Mums birthday in style! We would be very happy to welcome you to our vineyard another time and perhaps on your next visit you could join one of our popular vineyard tours and wine tastings at Chet Valley Vineyard.
Very enjoyable stay
We had a lovely stay. Great quiet location. Lovely house with great facilities for all. Thank you.
Delighted to hear that you enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the Vine House which is set in our vineyard in Bergh Apton, a very rural part of South Norfolk. Great that you could enjoy wines made from the grapes grown on the vines you could see from your windows which were crushed and fermented in the winery next door. We would welcome you if you need to get away from it all again. There is so much to explore in the area of the Norfolk broads, Norwich, up to North Norfolk and down to Suffolk, Southwold and Aldeburgh. All within a short drive of our lovely Chet Valley Vineyard..
A lovely relaxing property in a tranquil setting, with caring hosts.
Many thanks for your review. We are very pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay at The Vine House at Chet and Waveney Valley Vineyard. Please do come again. Perhaps at harvest time when there are plenty of opportunities to get involved not only wine tasting but grape harvesting!
A place in the vineyard
Great property, great location and lovely owners. Set in a vineyard with acres of land to wander with our dogs. We were a party of three couples, each with a dog. All three bedrooms were well proportioned, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen and living room areas were great spaces to relax and socialize with doors opening onto the spacious gardens and the vineyard. We took the opportunity to take the vineyard tour and wine tasting which was hosted by the owners Bridget and John. They are both so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home. All six of us enjoyed ourselves so much that we are already planning our next stay at the Chet and Waveney vineyard.
Norfolk has a growing reputation as an ecotourism destination. The Chet vineyard is a great example. Be sure to book a wine tasting and vineyard tour with the winemaker during your stay. If you need any further advice an help on your trip to Bergh Apton in Norfolk please do get in contact.
