CHARMING, BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED (CHECK PHOTOS PLEASE) 1,800 sq. ft New England "farmhouse,'" 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 4-6. 2 working wood-burning FIREPLACES, screened porch overlooking flower garden, large backyard.
Charming, cozy, and comfortable. Membership at QUEECHY LAKE.
Decorating skill makes my two-story country house a charming rural retreat, both inside and out, for you and your family. Relax in front of 2 fireplaces (one in each of two living rooms), featuring wide board wood floors, lovely wallpaper and comfortable country furniture. There is an eat-in kitchen, as well as a lovely, full dining room. Eat out on the screened porch in summer.

Three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, a den, and another bathroom downstairs. Upstairs master bedroom has a king bed, second bedroom has a queen bed, the third bedroom has twin beds. The main floor has a fourth bedroom, and can sleep one adult. There's also a pull out couch in the living room.

The large back yard and woodland privacy offer a picturesque natural setting that is lovely in every season. A screened porch with white wicker furniture and a picnic table overlooks a beautiful flower garden during the spring and summer.

Experience the beauty of the Berkshires and its culture: Tanglewood, Shakespeare & Company, Williamstown Theater, Berkshire Playhouse, Clark Art Museum, and Barrington Stage Co., etc. Many gourmet restaurants, outdoor activities and the arts: theater, opera, ballet, painting, and dance. Lebanon Springs is midway between Williamstown and Stockbridge, and 10 minutes west of Pittsfield. Lebanon Springs is a sweet, country town quite near the sophistication of Lenox, Stockbridge and Williamstown. There are antique shops in town, auctions at Meisner's, a Sunday flea market, etc. A fun place all 4 seasons! Near Queechy Lake, 15 minutes to Tanglewood.

We throughly enjoyed our stay!
We throughly enjoyed our stay at Barbara's home! The home is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with Barbara's paintings! We spent quite a bit of time on the back screened in porch! We ate most our meals there, looking out at the georgeous back yard. We went kayaking in lake Queechy and visited the Hancock Shaker Village. Thank you!

Charming country house in the nature
Owner Barbara is warm and responsive. Unlike typical vacation rentals, this is a house with stories as you can see from the pictures and paintings on the walls. The location is convenient yet surrounded by nature. We saw deers, rabbits and heard owls. The town is idyllic with friendly people.

Charming Home
This charming home was perfect for my family of five. We especially enjoyed spending summer days and evenings in the screened in porch that looks out over a lovely landscaped private yard.

Wow!
This home is full of old world charm! My family had the pleasure of spending many winters there, especially after Superstorm Sandy.... The date above the Reveiw is inaccurate. We stayed in 2011, 2012 and 2013. My family of 4 could not have been happier. Barbara could not have been kinder or more accommodating. The home is perched on top of a hill with a dead end road so no traffic, yet sits just off s main road for easy access. A 10 minute drive gets you to Jiminy. 15 minutes gets you into Pittsfield for shopping and museums. The house is 1/2 from everything's imaginable in the Berkshires from museums in North Adams to Theatre everywhere else. The home is old but so comfy and full of charm. Sunrise in the kitchen and sunset in the living room. Two large fireplaces and large property to play on. Neighbors are delightful and very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING Berkshire. We stayed for an entire winter one year and half a winter in another but we will be definitely staying again soon. Trails, woods, wildlife, a state park trail is less than a 5 minute walk from the front door and the porch swing is a dream come true. I We love the home so much we told Barbara we want the ability to give the first offer if and when the home goes up for sale. We cat say enough to wonderful things about the home or the hosts. We consider the owners and the neighbors like family! We will be back and it's worth every single penny!!!!! Centrally located, asthetically beautiful, super comfy, warm on cold nights, big beautiful trees surround property, a quest road with a stream across the street. It's sheer Berkshire perfection. Can't wait for our next winter at Barbara's home!!
