Guys Farm provides a luxury getaway set in the peaceful Cambridgeshire countryside with convenient rail links to Ely, Cambridge, Peterborough and Stansted Airport. Guys Farm has five individually-styled bedrooms, now available for 6 (usually sleeping up to 12 guests.) It has a large kitchen-diner, three bathrooms, two reception rooms and a utility room.We provide a large hot tub, games room with games and toys and a large TV and DVD player for all our guests to enjoy. Lovely traditional farmhouse

Really great time staying at Guy's Farm, it's a traditional old farmhouse. Rooms are comfy and got some lovely views, you'll need a car as it's super rural. Some of the facilities could be modernised but everything works and is clean so it's not actually an issue, just a note. Would 10/10 recommend

Brilliant short break

House is lovely in a remote area but close to the village. Overall this was a great break and Caroline has thought of so many little touches to make you feel welcome. Facilities are great with lots of games and toys available to entertain the children!

Guy's Farm is owned by Caroline and Chris Barnes. We lived at the farm for about twenty years and when our children left home, moved abroad to teach. We now live in Manea in a house built by Chris.

Why they chose this property

Guy's Farm is a real family house! Matthew and Emily Guy (my husbands great grandparents) and family built the house in 1912. It was surrounded by 22 acres of land. The couple had six children, naming the house after one of their daughters (Dorothea). We married in 1986 and after living in Peterborough returned to live in Dorothea House, which we renamed Guy’s Farm after the family. We raised two sons Matthew and Oliver before leaving the UK in 2010 to work overseas for six years. During this time Guy’s Farm was rented out to long term tenants.
In November 2018 Guy’s Farm was refurbished and reopened as a holiday let - we hope you enjoy the house as much as we have

What makes this property unique

Peace and quite! Guy's Farm is perfect place for family reunions, school reunions, hen weekends and family holidays. We have provided a hot tub, games table, games, TV/DVD so there is plenty to do at the farm, however if you wish to venture further afield, Sandringham,Cambridge,Ely and the Norfolk coast are easily accessible.
