This recently updated lock-off apartment at Piney Point is prime real estate for all of your vacationing needs. Located at the top of Dillon Valley right off I70, you have easy access to the resorts, dining and marina while offering seclusion and views of the Rocky Mountains. Fully furnished and equipped with a complete kitchen, you are sure to feel welcome at this home away from home. Our home is powered by 100% wind energy for a guilt-free vacation experience!

The 3 bedrooms accommodate a maximum of 8 guests but for greater comfort, 6 guests are recommended. Enjoy the outdoors with a propane grill and picnic area with views of the Continental Divide and Gore Range, or use the hot tub to soothe your sore muscles after an action-packed day. Parking is conveniently located right outside for your ease of travel. Well behaved pets are always welcome to share in your vacation.

Please be aware that myself, Natalie, as well as a few long term tenants live on the property as well. The rental is a lock-off which is part of a single family home. Guests have their own entrance and amenities and do not share any space with us other than the driveway.

About Natalie Oikawa

I left NYC in 2013 to live the mountain life and ended up in Summit County because it has everything I wanted. Great snow, huge mountains and an awesome community. I love all outdoor activities but snowboarding and trail running with my dogs are the best in my book.

The house is very accessible to town amenities as well as hiking trails and ski resorts so it's the best of both worlds. And I didn't have to sacrifice views, seclusion or property size!

Loved this place!!

We have stayed at many places over the years and this place really impressed us. First off, it was one of the cleanest and well kept properties we have been to. It had everything you need. The queen size bunk beds had our boys so comfortable. The toilets are the best treat any of us have had. To sit on a warm toilet seat can make your morning! Natalie was so accommodating to our family and two little dogs. We would recommend it to anybody and would stay again. Thanks Natalie!

This house is fantastic, and perfect for families!

We stayed here for 2 nights and the place was perfect. Natalie, made sure to meet us here and was a perfect host. She had the property ready at noon for us! My first experience with VRBO, and because of Natalie, I will certainly do this again. It was our home away from home, complete with grill, outdoor table, and chairs, and a hot tub. We very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you Natalie!

Convenient, Dog-friendly, 3 Bedroom in Dillon

We found this place on HomeAway when searching for rental homes west of the Rockies which would allow dogs. The place is as-advertised, with 3 carpeted bedrooms, one of which has a bunk-bed. There are 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining, and living areas, all of which appeared to have laminate wood floors. The dining table is round with 4 chairs. There were additional chairs available for added seating. The counters in the kitchen as well as the 2 showers are made of cement(?), which is unique.

There are a couple of parking spaces in front of the unit. There is a hot-tub, patio table with umbrella, and 4 chairs, heating lamp, and chiminea as pictured in front of the unit. We did not use these. Natalie the owner lives upstairs with her 2 dogs. She was very responsive and prompt whenever we had a question or needed a fan or something. The ground floor unit stays pretty cool during the night, so AC is not needed. Natalie provided slippers for all of us.

The unit is quiet most of the time, with the occasional footsteps upstairs, but it did not really bother us. It is also somewhat dark as it's a lower level apartment. TV has ROKU with Netflix, YouTube, and the usual shows on demand. There is no cable or local TV stations. We did not use the stereo speakers.

The decor is unique with exposed wood beams, heating ducts, etc. The aforementioned cement counters and shower wall were interesting. The toilets are both bidet types and had pre-warmed seats. Plenty of towels and linens provided.

Coffee, tea, basic spices, kettle, utensils, dishes, cups, glasses, silverware, and paper towels were all provided. There is a stove, fridge, small microwave, and coffeemaker in the kitchen.

The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. There are a couple of steep sandy roads on the drive into the area. Sharp left turn into the driveway to the unit as well. We did not find these problematic.

Natalie’s apartment was perfect for our golf trip. She was super accommodating and very friendly. The place has a great view and is very comfortable. I never used a bedit before...nice touch!

We loved our stay in this apartment cabin. It’s beautiful inside! The queen bunk beds are an excellent touch if you have multiple couples staying with you. It’s a little bit secluded if your looking for a place off the beaten path,
