Wow simply the best.
This property was superb, immaculately clean, amazingly comfortable with little treats, and the views from the balcony are amazing, watched quite a few sunsets.
A very special place. we will be back.
Wonderful property in a beautiful location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Walkers. There were five of us and the property was ideal. Our boys enjoyed the water facilities at the neighbouring kayak/SUP hire place. Only a 10 minute walk away from the bustle of Bowness too. We would recommend Walkers and I'm sure we will visit again.
Oustanding property in a fantastic location.
My wife and are live in Austin, Texas and visit the UK once a year to see family. We used the Walker Boathouse for a family get together of 5 people, it was perfect for our needs. Being on one level it was great for my mother who cannot use stairs.
Location - outstanding, overlooks Lake Windermere about 15 minutes walk from restaurants, pubs & shops. The deck overlooking the lake was great for the nice sunny days we had while there.
Property - first class. Spotlessly clean and updated to a very high standard. Much thought has gone in to the re-model of an old boathouse. The welcome groceries/wine were much appreciated. The information provided by Helen was very informative and the recommendations on restaurants were excellent, we particularly enjoyed dinner at the Brown Horse pub.
Helen was responsive to all our questions and responded very quickly.
We have stayed at a lot of Home Away properties throughout the world and this is one of the best.
Thank you Kevin, so pleased you had a memorable time and thank you for your review. Helen.

Thank you again.
Everything we could have wanted for a long weekend in the lakes.
Great location for walking, sailing and relaxing.
Fantastic view, clean and well appointed.
Lots to see and do: 5 to 10 minute walk into Bowness with plenty of shops, restaurants and activities; right by the water and easy to hire canoes or go sailing. Plenty of walks to suit all abilities. Ferry across to the other side of the lake is fun with lovely cafe and scenic lakeside path.
Thank you for your review and look forward to you returning again.
