Weather in Vermont

The weather in Vermont is typical of the northern part of the United States. There are four distinct seasons, and each has their charm. The winters get quite cold with an average temperature of about -9 degrees. Many travellers flock to Vermont for the wonderful skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling available during this time. The summers in Vermont can be quite hot and humid with an average temperature of just over 19 degrees, with some days getting as high as 30 degrees. There is some rainfall each month with an average of about 5 to 10 cm per month. In the winter months, when the most precipitation occurs, one is more likely to see snow than rain.
