Wonderful stay at the Grand White Loft

                                                    4 of 5
My family had a wonderful stay at the Grand White Loft for a week. It was clean, nicely maintained. Service was good, anything I pointed out that needed fixing was done right away. It's a one bedroom apt with a king bed in the bedroom, 2 twin beds set in the nooks of the living room that provided some privacy for each of my 3 children age 12 and under, along with 2 full size sofa beds. Our plane delayed and we arrived really late at night. Upon arrival my children became hungry. Luckily, the owners stocked the kitchen with food: Fruits, yogurt, buns/deli meat for sandwichs, drinks and even beer for the travel-tired. The kitchen has a stove top, microwave and full size fridge. It was great to have the flexibility to whip up some quick french toast and scrambled eggs for my kids while the others sleep in, instead of having to wait for everyone to wake up to go out for breakfast at the hotel next door. Microwave was great for heating up leftovers from the restaurants. Given it was pretty hot, we bought loads of ice cream and kept them in the freezer, which came in very handy. My kids loved the double shower heads in the bathroom, it was efficient (and fun). They also provided daily personal laundry service which was wonderful for a family of 5! As such, when I got home, I only had to do 1 day worth of laundry! It's great not having to do laundry during vacation or after vacation. We had a car, although annoying to have to move it on certain days of the week due to street cleaning ordinance, it was nice to be able to park the car right in the street of the townhouse. One of the greatest advantage was the location. We walked to the Met Museum twice (just 4 blocks away, the Morgan library is also 4 blocks away the opposite direction of the Met and Guggenhem is 4 more blocks passed the MET), walked around the corner to nice pastries and cappucinos (at Sant Ambroeus). Took the kids to central park a few times, which is right outside the building. They played at the children sprinkler park that is just a few blocks down. The boat pond is right on the same street as the building as well where you can rent remote controlled sailboats. The subway was also just a few blocks away. One night at 9pm, we hopped onto the subway and went down to Greenwich village for coffee/snack and NYU where I went to school. It was very convenient. Overall, everyone enjoyed the convenience of the location, the quietness, safeness of the neigborhood and the comfortable apt.

Excellent apt. on the Upeer East Side

                                                    5 of 5
My wife and I stayed at 10 East 76th St. in the Deluxe Terrace Suite for 9 days in the middle of June. We are mature and well-travelled. We have booked short term apts. in NYC before and this was by far our best experience. The location is ideal for us with an entrance to Central Park less than a block away. It is the best part of Central Park with the Conservatory Water sailboat race pond, rental rowboats and the Delacorte Fountain all close by. At the end of the block you will find Café Boulud handy and a few blocks south on Madison there is a nice little grocery with everything you might need and Eli Zabar’s Pastries is across the street. Madison Ave. is home to wall to wall high end clothes and shoe stores as well as jewelers. The gem called the Metropolitan Museum is a short walk north. The building is beautiful and landmarked. The apts. are roomy and well maintained. Our apt. is exceptionally quiet. It had everything we needed. The wifi was fast and without fault. The cable TV had more channels than we have at home. Anna the housekeeper was attentive and it was wonderful being able to have her do our laundry. Julia will handle the details of your stay with precision, kindness and clarity. Face the facts. Lodging in NYC is expensive because demand and building expenses are high. Compare these apts. with the hotels in the neighborhood. You will get a full kitchen, a separate bedroom and much more floor space at 10 East 76th for the same price as a hotel studio with a cube refrigerator. We are lucky to have found this apt. and will definitely stay here on all our NYC trips. It is worrisome signing on for an expensive stay and dealing with someone you don’t know and maybe in a city you are not familiar with. Let me put your mind at ease. You will get what is promised and have a good time at this apt. PS-Red Farm is our favorite restaurant. It is always very crowded and busy and not a place for us. It is right on the other side of the Park and lo and behold they have a wonderful delivery service that never failed to bring our food to 10 East 76th piping hot. We are in Palm Beach 6 months a year and there is no similar great food that can be ordered in there.

                                                    5 of 5
I have had the pleasure of staying at this property on several occasions as a repeat guest over the last year, while in the process of returning to live back in New York City. I am very familiar with this area, having lived ten blocks south for over twenty years. I would rate the neighbourhood as one of the most desirable in the city. It is steps from Central Park, great shopping, cafes and dining. Not to mention many museums and galleries. The property itself is a beautiful townhouse mansion, immaculately maintained, tranquil and safe. The hosts and staff are gracious, accommodating and non-intrusive. I have stayed in both the large Terraced Suite and in the smallest room with a Murphy bed. My experiences have all been positive and I have recommended this listing to family and friends seeking an alternative to New York hotels. It is suitable for both business and vacation travellers. The suites can accommodate family and individuals as well. I would highly recommend stay here when planning your next trip to New York City. It is truly a special and unique experience!
