My wife and I, our children, their spouses and grandchildren (11 total) had a wonderful week at Sugar Sands. We rented the four bedroom upper level unit for a week. The accommodations were perfect for our needs and could have accommodated a couple of extra people if needed. The unit is quite spacious. The master bedroom is very generous with a sitting area and private bathroom. The double beds in the bunk room were great and the room big enough not to be crowded. The kitchen was well equipped and easily handled multiple chefs cooking. The second living area was a nice extra. Some of the deco is a bit dated but everything was functional and clean. The pool and proximity to the beach were FANTASTIC! While the beach is public access, the stretch located behind Sugar Sands felt private while we were there especially through the week. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool as well. It is suitable for small children with a walk-in, wade-in. Lots of chairs and the umbrellas provided shade throughout the day. We did not really notice the condos on either side. The pool is surrounded by trees and shrubs that provide a sense of isolation. We look forward to returning soon.
