Things to do in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

Much of a Palm Beach Gardens holiday will be spent stretched out in the sun, with sand between your toes and the sound of waves in your ears. The Atlantic beaches of Florida are sensational, with almost endless miles of beach to choose from. Palm Beach itself has stiff competition from Delray Beach, North Palm Beach and Juniper, and as a result, crowds are dispersed across a huge region. This part of the coast is especially known for the quality of deep sea fishing available, and there is every chance that you could land a record breaking fish from a Palm Beach Gardens property rental. Water sports also thrive in the warm, clear waters of the Atlantic, especially scuba diving, as the visibility is remarkable and the sea life even more so. Sailing, windsurfing and canoeing holidays are also of top quality in the area.

Palm Beach Gardens is a golfing destination of unrivalled quality. Some of Florida’s finest golf courses can be found within a 5 minute drive of the city, and with so many excellent courses available, you will be able to arrange a tee-off time with extraordinary ease, safe in the knowledge that you will find a great deal of challenges as well as some remarkable scenery during your round.

Nature tours of the area are great fun, whether you go on foot, by canoe, on horse back or on bicycle. The region is amazingly rich in wildlife, with otters, bald eagle, alligators and bobcats regularly seen, especially in the larger parks like the Jonathan Dickinson State Park. There are a great range of wildlife and bird tours throughout the area, and with over 140 species of bird calling Palm Beach Gardens home, it truly is a nature lover’s dream.

The city itself is a magnificent place to loose yourself. The city is packed with shops from large department stores like Bloomingdales to small fashion boutiques, as well as some wonderful restaurants serving the finest of international cuisine. There are also some wonderful beauty spas, with massage therapies and treatments available.

Great location and nice private pool

5 of 5
My wife Cheryl and I spent four days in October golfing, on the beach and enjoying the private pool. We played two of the courses and had a fun day on the beach at the state park. The Squire course holes 3 and 4 play directly behind the home and when we were not playing, it was fun to watch the approach to 3 and the tee off on 4! The Mcarthur state park and beach was 6 miles away and we really enjoyed the walk over the bridge to the beach. Once on the beach, it seemed like we were on a private beach. The view to the north was great without any high rise condos or hotels in site! After a long day on the beach or golfing, we looked forward to a nice swim in the pool and having a drink on the covered porch. We would recommend this properity to our friend and family and would love to come back for a longer stay!
