Vermont has warm humid summers and cold winters. June, July is the warmest month of the year with an average high of around 78 degrees Fahrenheit, while June and August are almost as warm. Temperatures in January and February can dip as low as 6 degrees Fahrenheit but average out at about 17. The summer months are also the wettest with August averaging approximately 3.8 inches of rain, while the winter sees plenty of snow in the mountains.
