Make a holiday villa in Crown Pointe Naples your home away from home

Sandwiched between East and South Naples, Crown Pointe Naples holiday villas are ideally positioned to exploit everything the much-sought after holiday destination of Naples has to offer. With beaches to die for and a higher proliferation of golf courses than just about anywhere else in the world, Crown Pointe Naples apartments and villas also offer great shopping and nightlife in contrast to the peaceful wilderness of the Everglades right on the city's doorstep. All Crown Pointe Naples accommodation comes with air-conditioning, access to a pool and cable or satellite TV. In addition, most Crown Pointe Naples rentals enjoy a waterfront location.

Things to do

-Beaches: Florida is known for its beaches, and Naples is known for its beaches by Floridians. Fine, pure white sands stretch for tens of miles in each direction, ensuring guests at Crown Pointe Naples holiday accommodation are spoiled for choice when it comes to finding a spot for the day.

-Golf: Naples' title as 'The Golf Capital of the World' is well deserved, as over 80 competition-level golf courses can be found in the metropolitan area. Every age and ability can therefore be catered for, making golf widows and orphans a thing of the past.

-Watersports: Naples is riddled with waterways, a legacy of its proximity to the Everglades. A latticework of lagoons, canals and rivers access many parts of the city, so a boat is often as convenient as a car. So much water means many marinas, with charters catering to every watersport imaginable.

-Nature: For iconic tracts of wilderness, Florida is known for one in particular: the Everglades. It's not all swamp and wetland, however; there are huge ranges of pine forest and prairie, so exploration and nature-watching by airboat can often be supplemented by hiking, mountain biking and horse riding.

-Nightlife: Typically the seafront areas of Naples offer the usual maritime fare, with seafood shacks and beer bars rubbing shoulders with more upmarket eateries and drinking holes. Venturing further from the beach reverses the dynamic, however, and Naples is well versed in catering to a wide variety of tastes and budgets.

Weather in Crown Pointe Naples

Florida has a subtropical climate which means it really has two seasons rather than four. The summer is the wet season, with long, hot days often blighted by humidity and afternoon or evening thunderstorms. Temperatures get into the mid-30°C range. Winter, by contrast, is the dry season, with little rainfall and temperatures topping out in the low-20s.

Travel to Crown Pointe Naples

America's predilection with automobiles is well known, and it's a good idea to go with the flow on this one by booking a fly/drive. Public transport, though it often exists in some form or another, is often ignored by the vast majority, as the convenience of driving a car in a country built for cars is simply too great. Southwest Florida International Airport is only 33 miles away, but there are no direct European flights. Miami International is the closest option for those who don't like changing flights, at 121 miles distant.

Great villa in a lovely community

5 of 5
Spent a very enjoyable 9 days over Christmas and New Year. Foxfire is a very pleasant gated community and the villa itself has a large rear garden with mature trees at the rear which provides excellent privacy with a feeling of space. The lanai was down due to the summer hurricane, but this was not an issue at the time we were there, with no insects during the sunny days. The interior layout really worked for us as a family - with everyone getting plenty of space and privacy - and 'grandad' able to watch premier league football when he couldn't sleep or didn't want to sit in the sun. Perfect. Would certainly recommend and would happily return to the villa. Thanks. Steve

A wonderful and relaxing place to stay

5 of 5
We had thirteen nights in this wonderful villa, and wished we could have stayed longer. The booking process went extremely smoothly and Anne, the owner, responded quickly to my numerous questions, was very efficient, and provided detailed information on the villa and surrounding area before we left. We arrived late in the evening and as there are no keys to collect, were able to access the villa easily with the code provided. Anne had been aware we intended to use the Den as a fourth bedroom, and ensured that the sofa bed had been made up for our arrival. We found a couple of minor problems when we arose the following day, but one quick phone call to the local management company, and they were sorted the same day. What you see in the photos on the website is what you get. The villa is large and spacious, and clean, and there's all the equipment you might need available to you: plenty of towels, bedding, kitchen utensils, crockery and glassware, beach chairs & umbrella, DVD's, books, games, washer, drier, hairdryers, and more. The best thing of all however has to be the view from the pool area across the beautiful lake. The villa is in a quiet residential area, and it was so relaxing to sit and watch the sun rise and set across the lake, to see the different birds and wildlife. It was also a great place to watch the lightning storms! From the villa it's only a ten minute drive to Downtown Naples, and a couple of minutes further to the beach and pier. It's also easy to get to Marco Island (30 minutes) and the Everglades (~50-60 minutes). There's plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Our favourite days included a Corrie Billy's Airboat ride (on the way to the Everglades), our boat trip with Naples Water Tours (which included swimming off Keewaydin Island, dolphin spotting and jetskiing), and kayaking with the Naples Kayak Company. Great places to eat included the Snook Inn on Marco Island, The Dock at Cayton Cove, and Roma Bistro on 5th Avenue. The ice cream from Kilwins on 5th is delicious!. The beaches in the area are amazing and we had great days at Lowdermilk , Barefoot and Tigertail (Marco Island) beaches. There's a Publix supermarket, Starbucks and Subway very close by and several shopping malls close to Downtown Naples. We were sad when the day of our departure came around, but if we ever go back to Naples, won't hesitate to see if this property is available for our stay. Our deposit was returned to us within a week of leaving.
