Second stay

5 of 5
This place has proven to be a great find for me to escape the craziness that is London! I've been here twice and I'm already planning a third trip in 2019. John is a really attentive host and the home is immaculately clean and well appointed. Air conditioning has been added since my first visit in 2015 - a much welcome addition which makes the home now perfect during those humid Cape Cod evenings. The house is in a great location, away from the noise of the traditional 'touristy' bits of Falmouth, but still close enough to thouroghly enjoy them. The beaches are a 5 minute drive away, and large stores less than 10 minutes. Everything you need for a family holiday is included. The outside area, which many have already written about, includes a gas BBQ grill, outdoor shower and an outside summer house. Inside you'll obviously find cable TV and internet, but there's also a great selection of books and board games and a table tennis table in the basement. Essentials for the beach are also catered for with several fold up beach chairs available, kids beach toys, cooler boxes and bicycles. As mentioned before, John is a fantastic host. I didn't get to see him this time around, but he sent several emails before our arrival, sent me a message on the day of checkin to advise the house was ready much earlier than the 4pm check-in time and I was welcome to settle in earlier if I'd like, and then he messaged again half way through our holiday to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. An added bonus - both times I've stayed at this home - John has refunded my security deposit within one day of us checking out.... (also I'm pretty sure that in 2015 I accidentally broke a glass- he turned a blind eye to it... awesome service!) So, all in all, a really relaxing trip to the Cape. I really can't recommend this place enough, and looking forward to visiting it again.

My favorite place to stay on the Cape

5 of 5
This lovely cottage was the best place we have ever stayed on Cape Cod.It is a quiet, relaxing location and yet located close to many of the Cape Cod attractions. The cottage is picture perfect inside and equipped with everything you could need to feel right at home. My son enjoyed the canoe and fishing on the pond.We truly had a great time and this gem on Pimlico Pond is a place we would love to return to.
