  • Character cottage nestled in peaceful Devon Village within yards of county pub serving amazing food.

Lovely thatched cottage with wood burner and well kitted out kitchen. Very comfortable bed and lounge sofas! Lots of low ceilings, as expected!. Bathroom adequate, but would benefit from a little upgrading. The car parking on the square could be an issue on returning in evening, as doesn't appear to be a designated space for cottage and local residents may have guests visiting etc. Wonderful welcome from Rob Smallbone, and bonus of being able to do take away dinner from the pub. Unfortunately, pub closed 2 nights of our stay ....

A lovely cottage, comfortable, warm, spacious, peaceful, very well equipped, lovely gardens with everything you could need. Will recommend this and will come again. Great hosts also with the clotted cream tea. Thanks.
