  • The perfect quiet retreat

We stayed as an extended family and the place was perfect. Large lounge area for lots of game, huge kitchen and dining area (well equipped kitchen) and outdoor BBQ and seating area for the sunnier nights! 5 goods sized bedrooms and again well updated. We had a 4 year old and only 30mins from Big-Sheep and even closer to Rosemoor gardens! Good day trips to Bude and Croyde beaches both drives well under an hour. If you want a very quiet and well kept home from home this is spot on. Host was prompt in all comms and made stay easy. Thanks from all the family.

  • The house was perfect for our group of three families. Lovely and spacious and really well equipped.

We enjoyed the quiet location of Boreat Manor and it was in easy reach of nearby attractions and the coast for trips out. We were six adults and six children and there was plenty of space for us not to be on top of one another and for the (teenage) children to hang out. The bedrooms were large and plenty of beds to accommodate our sleeping arrangements - and a fabulous family bathroom. The kitchen was a great space and really well equipped for catering for 12 people - as was the dining room. The house was actually more spacious than it looked in the photos and exceeded our expectations which is always a nice feeling for the start of the holiday. We stayed in the summer but we all thought the house would also be great in the winter with the fire going. We would highly recommend this property.
