Our guests ranged from 4 to 84, with us renting this Vauxhall apartment for a family event in London in the first week of September 2018. We have visited London many times, but never stayed in this area. We needed a self-catering option which would cater for everyone in the party. Nobody was disappointed!! We absolutely loved it. Clever use of space in the apartment itself, it was quiet, comfortable (beds were extremely comfy!), bright and had all the facilities needed. The location was superb - a short stroll to the bus, train and tube stations meant we were never far away from any part of the centre of London. Walking over Lambeth Bridge was gorgeous too - a beautiful stroll in the sunshine with pit stops at Horseferry Playground for the kids to play and the adults to enjoy a coffee. We didn't realise just how close Vauxhall was to everything. Within the area itself there were also nice cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and lovely open spaces. Now we have a major problem - our 4 year old daughter was on her first trip to London - she wanted to stay and has announced that we have to stay there on our next visit. I am in full agreement with her, but the more people who know about this gem, the less chance we have of availability! Booking was simple, communication from the outset with Darren and Claire was excellent and our greeter Jenny was just wonderful. It wasn't just our 4 year old who didn't want to come home, we would all have happily stayed a bit longer. I'd highly recommend and will definitely choose this apartment again if it's available. Thanks to our hosts for a lovely stay and to Jenny for being so accommodating and making us feel very welcome.
Excellent apartment that has beautiful use of a surprisingly spacious floorplan with a separate bedroom and a terrace that joins onto the living area. Located on a side street so very quiet especially at night. Will return if opportunity arrises.
