  • Fantastic coach house conversion, cosy and comfortable, home from home.

Alison and Steve (owners) have done a fantastic job of converting the property into a two bedroom cosy and comfortable holiday home. Private garden with large decking and seating area, with a grassed area where the dog can roam. That said the whole driveway is gated and secure so the dog can just wander around if you wish nice and safely. The inside has a fully equipped kitchen, even providing the ‘smaller’ additions of dish washer tablets, foils and cling film, coffee, tea, etc . Where some places provide nothing, Alison and Steve really want you to be comfortable and the extra addition of a lovely welcome basket was another golden touch. Good location to visit the local area. A few places we visited as a family Black mountains, Hay On Wye, Brecon, Talgarth, Beacon Boats, Brecon Mountain Railway, Builth Wells. Fantastic countryside and had a fab stay. Locally there a great little cafe over the road that serves snacks, lunch, cream teas and sells a range of foodie stuff. There is a petrol garage close by too that also has pretty much something of everything and a pub about 30 meters down the road. Recommend Foyles restaurant in Glasbury, Georgie Porgies cafe in Builth Wells, Hills restaurant just outside Brecon and The Granary in Hay On Wye, where there is also a large co op (10mins drive). Overall a fantastic holiday and would recommend staying in Montgomery’s coach house.
