A massive thankyou to you Toni, For the most humble warm welcoming that you gave me & Carl with the log fire already lite for us & tasty homemade apple flapjacks too went down a treat !! thank you also for the suggestions to go & visit .. the lake & waterfall was just spectacular we was overwhelmed by it :) the barn is stunning in every aspect filled with unique furniture & all you need from pots , pans , cutlery & endless kindle & logs to use too. .. the role top bath is way bigger than pictured it’s very luxurious & we felt so relaxed in it . The log burner is also much bigger than is pictured kicks out some heat on a cold evening.. the BED!! Well that was just heaven best night sleep we have both had in a very long time , Waking up to the cockerel was perfect & stunning views ! The hand picked wild flowers was also a lovely touch . You really have created a peaceful gorgeous barn to be very proud of .. the only thing bad We have to say is we only had 2 nights here. We didn’t want to leave it at all . We definitely want to return to enjoy the barn again as soon as possible . Many thanks Laura & Carl

Our only disappointment is that we only spent three nights here but will definitely be back. Andrew and Fiona were the perfect hosts and the cottage itself was everything we had hoped for (and more). The location is just wonderful and the views across the open countryside to the hills are magnificent, especially with sunrise. We were looking for somewhere peaceful to relax and we found it here but still within a short drive to Oswestry and Shrewsbury (great for shopping especially the indoor market) and into Snowdonia. As there were only the two of us the cottage offered loads of room but even with four it would be very comfortable. We couldn't fault the level of equipment, the comfort of the bedrooms or the twin bathroom facilities and the gardens and landscaping just round off a perfect retreat on the Welsh border. For a longer stay there is a washing machine and dryer in the adjacent chalet. While tea, coffee and milk (and Welsh cakes) are provided we do recommend that you stock up on food and drink before you get here - that way you can just sit back on the patio, relax and take it all in.
