This much improved holiday cottage is situated in an ideal spot for exploring North Cornwall. This was our second stay here, but the first with the new owners, who’ve done a lovely job with their upgrade. It’s well equipped, clean and comfortable with all the lovely touches you’d hope for in a seaside cottage. The coastline is stunning with so many beautiful walks. If you’re lucky with the sunshine, morning high tide at Trebarwith Strand is breathtaking, whereas the morning low tide at Bedruthan Steps is fantastic for exploring and photographic opportunities. Apart from an initial small climb there is a lovely flat walk from Trebarwith to Tintagel where you can explore the castle and enjoy lunch in one of the many pubs or cafes. A tougher walk from Port Quinn to Port Issac is well worth doing and we can recommend Chapel Cafe for breakfast or lunch, before your return, either along the coastal path or on the shorter inland walk. Lastly, take the ferry from Rock and walk round the headland where you can enjoy a cream tea on your return, served from the back window of a cottage, where you can sit in their garden and enjoy the views across the estuary. All in all the cottage and the area, are the idyllic place to base your stay.
