Weather

Whilst Wales is renowned for being wet and windy, Tenby’s southerly coastal location gives it a much more pleasant climate. Average temperatures in the summer months tend to reach 19°C, whilst visitors can expect an average of ten days rainfall in the summer, rising to 16 over the winter months. June, July and August tend to be the hotter, sunnier months with temperatures dipping slightly in September as the area welcomes the Wales Ironman Competition.

Travel

The main road into Tenby is the A477 from Camarthen. Visitors from the north and the Midlands can access this from Chester by following the A483, whilst visitors from the South can follow the M4 from Cardiff. Alternatively, there is train access from Bristol Parkway, Cardiff, Swansea and Newport. Tenby is served by its own train station from which arrivals and departures are frequent. Additionally, Tenby has a regular bus service and a number of coach trips arriving daily.

A lovely home from home in a fantastic location

We have just arrived home from our break in Tenby. This house is awesome - straight away it feels very homely and comfortable (even our 1 year old slept every night!) The house is located on a quiet street within very easy walking distance to the many pubs, restaurants, shops and beaches (which are breathtakingly beautiful). The house has a very high end feel and is very, very well equipped. Tina (owner) is great.....responds very fast and very helpful. I cannot say enough about this house - we will definately be returning and if any of our friends or family are thinking of visiting Tenby, I'd definately recommend booking here.

Amazing property, location and owners

The location of the property was perfect for us, close to all the beaches, pubs, restaurants and shops. The property itself was immaculate and had everything you'd need for your stay. Aside from this, we have to make mention of the fantastic owners. On the morning of our booking they e mailed to let us know the apartment was ready and therefore we did not need to wait until the 3 o'clock check in time. We also had a little bit of an accident which caused some damage to the carpet. We notified Karen straight away and she was more concerned that this didn't ruin our holiday rather than what we had done to the carpet! We would definitely love to return again soon, thanks for a wonderful stay.
