Very nice, clean and well equipped space; I went there for a songwriting retreat and it was perfect. Nicely tucked away and quiet enough, but also within walking distance to some useful amenities, and a great nature reserve less than a 5 minute drive away which is well worth a visit. Great knowing that Jo and her husband are staying opposite too, I knew that if I had any issues (which I didn't) they would be there in a heartbeat to help. I will definitely be coming back at some point!

  • Great enjoyable stay in Hastings.

Great comfortable flat, enjoyable stay. Good location near the beach and cafes and wine bars, in the old town, historic part of Hastings. It's a great flat with everything you can think of provided. It's only up 2 flights of stairs overtop of the fishing tackle shop. Really big spacious lounge and kitchen and 2 large bedrooms and a shower room and seperate toilet. The flat has storage heaters but if you are a bit chilly there is a fan heater in the cupboard. Martyn provided bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee, sugar and fruit. Along with towels, tea towels, toilet rolls, even children's games. They was also general interest leaflets and bus time tables provided. The bus stop is just across the road to get into town, and there is a convenience store across the road, for milk, bread sugar etc. I would definitely recommend it. I would definitely stay there again.
