The flat is at convenient location. We stayed for three weeks and found it to be a comfortable place to stay. The flat is located near many restaurants, Cafés, Hyde Park, Green Park.
The Marble Arch stations is an short walk. That was important to us because that station is part of London’s central line which is the line to take into London itself.
The paddington station was a ten minute walk. That station was our gateway to the western part of the UK.
We intended to use the kitchen for most of our meals, we found it to be well equipped (although having an extra frying pan and a blender/mixer would have been a nice to have). Best yet, the flat was less than a block away from Waitrose supermarket which had the majority of our grocery needs. A Tesco Metro was also a block away but it had more limited choices. It is also worth noting that there were many Middle Eastern within a block of the flat which provided us with additional food shopping options.
The gentleman who was our contact for the flat very responsive to any our needs and was very helpful in terms of providing us with any information we needed. Best of all he was very quick to reply to any messages we sent him."
A disclaimer to start: we are a young couple who are very familiar with London (on foot and by public transport), having previously lived here for a good number of years. We enjoyed our stay in the flat and would seriously consider staying again the next time we are in London.
The best thing about the flat is its location: 3 minutes on foot to Marylebone station, 5 minutes to Edgware Road station, and 10 minutes to Baker Street/Baker Street station. Edgware Road is a 10-minute walk, Marylebone High Street about 15 minutes, and the West End (with Oxford/Regent Street en route) 30-35 minutes' walk at a leisurely pace.
The flat is of a good size (though the photos do make it look slightly bigger than it actually is) and is well-appointed. We would, however, recommend that the cooking utensils (e.g. better kitchen knives/chopping board, frying pan/skillet) be updated for the benefit of those who would prefer to do their own cooking.
Shower can be a bit poky for taller individuals, but generally no complaints about the toilet/bathroom.
Manager might want to have a look at the lamp above the bar counter - we were not able to find the switch so, unfortunately, left it on for the entire week that we were in the flat!
