Lovely comfortable character cottage with a secluded rear garden on a quiet road

5 of 5
We had a fantastic stay at St Mary's Cottage. The cottage is full of character, it was very clean and extremely comfortable. The welcome pack and toiletries were a nice touch. The rear garden and new patio were perfect to relax in after a day at the beach, watching the sun going down and enjoying a glass of wine. We also enjoyed watching a couple of the extensive DVD collection and the magazines on the coffee table was another welcoming touch. The cottage is dog friendly, the rear garden is fully enclosed and there is a Heath a couple of minutes walk which is great for that early morning dog walk. Even though the cottage accepts dogs, it was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Halesworth is a few minutes away in the car and is a nice little town, with a number of restaurants and pubs. The cottage is ideally located for Southwold, Dunwich, Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings. We look forward to a return visit to St Mary's Cottage next year and hope we are as lucky with the weather.
