  • Spacious and comfortable accommodation close to City Centre
    4 of 5

We enjoyed staying at Bellevue Terrace. It is extremely spacious and well furnished and situated within 15 - 20 minutes walk of the City Centre. There are also a number of restaurants situated very close by if you prefer to eat out. We were somewhat disappointed with the bathroom facilities - there is only a hand shower and no screen or curtain, so it is not easy to shower without spraying the surrounds. We would suggest a screen and bracket to hold the shower head which itself could also be updated. It also got a little chilly and there is no way we could find of turning on/turning up the heating outside of the fixed time it appeared to come on. It's a big area with high ceilings so we found it a little bit uncomfortable in the mornings especially. Water pressure in the kitchen is very low and sink taps in the bathroom have to be turned several times to get the water to flow. Toilet cistern takes quite a while to re-fill. Overall, we liked the apartment and are sure that the things mentioned above could be relatively easily fixed to provide an even better experience. David and Marie

  • A lovely apartment, in a great location
    5 of 5

We really enjoyed our long weekend in Edinburgh. The apartment is clean, comfortable and well equipped... and Heather (the owner) was especially helpful and accommodating. For a short (or longer) break the location couldn’t be better. A 10min walk to all the attractions (Royal Mile, Castle, Scott memorial, Princes Street gardens, shops and many galleries/museums and attractions). It was easy to catch the bus/tram to and from the airport from Waverley Bridge (10 mins walk), it would be similar for catching trains from the station. The local area seems to have everything you might want, supermarkets, pubs, cafes and restaurants all within a stones throw.
