Make a holiday apartment in Soho your home away from home

Soho is one of the most well-known portions of London’s West End. The area has undergone a bit of a rehab in recent years, and this includes many of the Soho holiday apartments. You will enjoy well-appointed and beautifully decorate holiday rentals. Choose a restored historic home or a trendy London loft. Either way, you’ll have a full kitchen and other extras. Also, you’ll be close to a vibrant nightlife and much of the best that London has to offer.

Things to do

-Comedy Clubs: One thing that Soho is known for is its wonderful comedy clubs. You’ll find several such clubs within walking distance of your Soho holiday apartment. Some of the top comedians are often booked in these clubs, but it is just as much fun to watch an unknown comic take to the stage.

-Nightlife: Soho is famous for its nightlife. You will have access to more clubs and bars than you could visit during your stay at your Soho holiday apartment. Whether you want to relax and enjoy a drink and some music or dance the night away, you will find a club to suit your tastes in this hip London neighbourhood.

-Shopping: Enjoy shopping? Then you may be pleasantly surprised by the variety of shopping that is available near your Soho holiday apartment. You’ll find lots of vintage items such as books, records, clothes and more. Kingly Court is a three level shopping area that features both retail chains and small boutiques. Be sure to stop by Agent Provocateur. This classy lingerie shop started in Soho and now has stores all over the world.

-China Town: China Town is a favourite destination for those on holiday to Soho. You’ll feel like you stepped into a different world as you enjoy fabulous Asian cuisine and browse through small shops featuring all manner of Asian goods.

-Dining: The Chinese restaurants in Soho are wonderful, but they are certainly not the only choice. You can choose to grab a quick bite at a spot like Yalla Yalla or opt for an amazing meal at a Michelin rated restaurant like Yauatcha. With so many nearby choices, you could easily eat at a different spot every night during your holiday.

The most popular time of year to holiday to Soho is during the late spring and early summer. If, however, you would like to avoid the crowds you can opt for a holiday at the beginning of spring and still enjoy decent weather. The average temperature during the winter months is 5° to 6° C. During the spring you can expect average temperatures of 10° to 13° C. Summer brings average temperatures of 18° to 20° C. There is between 40 and 70 mm of rain per month.

We went to London for a few days earlier in July. As my parents are seniors, I wanted them to be comfortable so decided to rent this apartment. The lift definitely helped. The space was gorgeous, and you have everything you needed. It was exactly like the photos that you see. I couldn't say enough great things about the hosts. They were responsive and arranged all the travels for us. They even accommodated our check out time so that my parents can rest a bit. In terms of location, you are in a great spot. You are steps away from Oxford Street, the theater district and lots of great restaurants. We walked everywhere. The one thing is that you can't open the windows and as it was quite hot in London, my parents felt that there wasn't enough air circulation in the apartment. There were portable ACs and fans in the rooms, but you can still feel a bit of heat. Also, as the apartment is located in an alley area, we can hear the garbage trucks doing the pick ups at 3 AM a couple of nights, again, not a big deal as we had ear plugs, but just so you are aware. Overall, if you want to be in a prime spot, in a spacious, comfortable apartment, this is the place to be!

Comfortable apartmentwith an amazing location

Great place to stay. Accommodations were roomy and clean. You are within 1 block of most of the Theatre in London. Only down side was no elevator so carrying your bags up 3 flights of stairs is a bit of a workout.
