A wonderful holiday

5 of 5
We saw lots of lovely reviews before our visit and wondered if they were too good to be true - but they were completely accurate! Tardis cottage was lovely and we had a wonderful holiday. Neil and Sue made us very welcome, and the cottage had everything needed to make it a home-from-home. Cooking meals can be tricky in self-catering cottages but, with easy-to-use appliances and plenty of kitchen equipment, it was a breeze. The central location made it easy to explore the local shops, and there were plenty of walks straight from the door. We thoroughly recommend this cottage. Thank you, Neil and Sue!

Great for escaping the rat race

4 of 5
Very quiet and peaceful cottage which was homely and very well equipped for a self catering holiday. Beautiful countryside in the surrounding areas of both Yorkshire Dales and Lakes. Car is essential for getting around and be prepared for lots of narrow winding roads which can make journeys a little longer than expected. Limited internet and phone assess at the property itself (although village amenities have Wifi and public telephones available) so 'getting away' from it all is pretty easy to do.
