  • Great stay for a week
    4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay for a week in Caister. The cottage is ideally placed for dog walkers, as its right next to the beach. The cottage is well equiped with everything you need. James came round to introduce himself and check we were ok etc, which was good. Parking is up a narrow alley but nice to have a space by the house. Minor downsides were the freesat box was a bit slow and didnt pick up all 5 'normal ' channels, perhaps a blind to the bathroom window is required, which was downstairs, so a bit of a pain in the middle of the night ! It did say on the website though ! These were small beer though, as we have relaxed for a week. Caister has a great pub, The Ship for food and real ale fans and its about 90 min steady walk to Great Yarmouth.

Great stay , relaxing , warm very close to the empty beach . The stairs take a bit of getting used to as they are very narrow . The Ship pub served great food , did not rate Ryan’s fish & chips though ( personal opinion ), the Never turn back pub was also very friendly but if taking kiddies take earplugs as the language can get a little colourful . All in all would definitely go back .
