Great cottage in a lovely area

4 of 5
We really enjoyed our week in Barn House Cottage. Secluded, in a small village, yet a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Hoveton/Wroxham (by car, it's a pity you can't walk to Hoveton, on the other hand the walk to Coltishall is very nice). Compact, yet everything was there. Needs a bit of updating but everything was functioning and we felt at home right away. Catherine and Mike very generously allowed us to park our bikes in the garage. It was our first visit to the Broads and we loved it and aim to come back some time. And we'll stay here if we do!

The owner was very helpful the cottage was clean and only yards from the beach. The cottage is ideal for children with enclosed garden our 2 granddaughters loved being so close to the beach. My only complaint was the holiday company 8 weeks before we were due to arrive I phoned them asking who I was to send the cheque to I was told the holiday had been cancelled I had to phone the owner James who sorted the problem out
