Well fitted out accommodation with large lounge and dining area, kitchen nice size with all quality equipment and plenty of storage. Owner kept in touch for any help. Twin bedroom probably not suitable for 2 adults or grown up children.Would visit again.

We stayed here for two nights and was very satisfied with the accommodation. The weather was cold but Vincent had popped the radiators on before our arrival so it took the chill off the room. It’s laid out as one large room and the single glazed windows did get a little drafty if you sat near them. By day two the furniture had warmed up and overall it was cosy. Bed was comfy with plenty of cushions pillows and a warm feather quilt. The kitchenette had all we needed for breakfast with a coffee machine and pods provided. This is the only negative comment to say about the property and is really very minor...The shower was the only room that maybe is a little dated. The water system didn’t cope well when one washed up whilst the other showered, so be warned! Jane was away with family during our stay but Vincent did a grand job of making us feel welcome. Their Newfoundland dog, Roscoe, was simply awesome! He was a fab playmate for our spaniel! The area is lovely to visit over the Christmas season and we enjoyed forest walks, a spot of shopping and some lovely meals the best of which was at the hare and hounds nearby.
