Lovely cottage, very well equipped

4 of 5
We've just spent a lovely week staying in Calder Cottage. The cottage was clean and very well equipped. As we have young children we tend to cook dinner for ourselves and the kitchen was a home from home enabling us to do this with relative ease. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels were provided, along with dressing gowns. Sue brought some toys around for the kids which was a lovely touch and very well received. Even though this cottage is attached to the owners home you didn't get the feeling you were being constantly watched but felt if you needed something they would be more than happy to assist. Overall a lovely place that received a thumbs up from the kids and we'll definitely return at some point.

Excellent accomodation

5 of 5
Clean, warm, well equipped and furnished house, friendly and helpful owners, very good swimming pool and games facilities. We felt the £87-50 'service fee' levied by HomeAway was high, and will avoid booking through this company again.
