Fantastic house in a wonderful location

5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It really is a comfortable, spacious home from home in a fantastic location. There were 8 of us ranging from the age of 4 to 54 plus a dog and we had plenty of room. We hope to return again.

Brilliant located, comfy, home from home.

Hill Rise is very well located and is comfortably furnished, cleanly decorated and well maintained and resourced home from home. 6 of us stayed (4 adults, 1x13yo, 1x2yo) and there was plenty of room that we didn't get in the way of one another. Had great contact, customer service and recommendations from owner. Trevone Beach, just down the road, felt like a secret location esp with the amazing weather we had it would be hard to surpass such a fab beach, esp the beachfront shop/cafe, toilets there too (20p a 'go'). Would avoid the local pub The Well Parc Hotel (google it on Tripadvisor, the 1* star reviews are factual, and pure entertainment, 5* reviews must be from relatives!). We visited Padtow a couple of times (Ben's Crib Box Cafe was great for breakfast), speed boat trip was fab. Also visited, about an hour's drive away, St Ives (beautiful coastal town, Tate gallery was not worth a free visit let alone having to pay £10pp!); Minack Theatre (try and see a show) and St Michael's Mount (look for tide times before going) - easy to do on same day. Did a few other beaches to but Trevone was definitely the best. I would return here without hesitation and recommend to anyone.
