Stayed at Bondhu cottage in Feb 2019. It has two spacious rooms on the ground floor (kitchen/diner and living room) and a spacious double and twin bedded room above. Good main bathroom and an en-suite. Very good heating system, and well equipped throughout. The standard of hygiene is fantastic! Eveything is spotless and shining. It is next to a road, but not exactly busy, and nice garden out the back. Smoke sensors/alarms and front and back doors, so good for emergency escape.

I really felt like we had ticked every box with this one! On arrival we got the key with no problem, host was in touch beforehand with spot on directions. The property was spotless - had everything you could think of - even straighteners in the bathroom! Hot tub was just wonderful to lie in with a glass of fizz very thoughtfully provided for us. The rain didn’t put us off at all. I was stressing on the way as I’d forgotten towels but they were provided along with dressing gowns too. Just outside the kitchen door there’s a little sitting area with a perspex roof.... this was perfect in the morning to sit with a cuppa listening to the birds. We took our two labs who loved the garden and outside space. We didn’t use the conservatory building further down the garden. There is a nice little dog walk using the lane directly opposite the cottage, going through the gate past the houses on the left and up following the side of the river. It’s not long but great fir morning and night walks. We also went over the perimeter of the golf course when it got darker. We normally have a rule of not returning to a property - preferring to go to different places - but I imagine we will want to return to this one soon - it’s realky special 😊
