Falling in love with Brooklinn Mill

5 of 5
We arrived late in the evening which wasn´t any problem for Louise. At first view we felt in love with our holiday home! It looked so cosy and all that wonderfull nature arround us - it was overwhelming after 17 hours car trip from Germany. The kitchen!!! Rather more than well equipped - everything you need for family cooking was at its place. The caring and thoughtful hand of Louise is obvious around the whole house. We slept wonderful in the fresh bed linen and the view from the bathing room while brushing the teeth is unforgetable. So we enjoyed our vacancy in every way, having nice trips to Montrose, Dunnotar Castle, Edinburgh, Aberdeen ,St. Andrews and a fantastic walking tour in Glen Clova. We loved shopping in Blairgowrie which offers really everything for daily life. We and our dog hated leaving Brooklinn Mill!

A rustic and peaceful cabin.

5 of 5
We immediately fell in love with The Log Cabin - the fire was burning despite it being the middle of summer (much appreciated by 4 Aussies!). The unexpected welcome pack, especially the scones and sponge cake, and plentiful breakfast supplies were much appreciated. Although isolated, one of the cabin's attractions, it provided a cosy nest to return to after exploring the scenery and history of the north west of Scotland and beyond. The cabin is spacious, very clean and we were fortunate to see red squirrels through the kitchen window. We highly recommend a stay at this highland cabin. Thank you Amanda and Davie!
