Superb balcony, wonderful view, great location and careful attention from the owners.

4 of 5
The balcony and its superb view make 'Island Watch' a great holiday venue. The living area on the lower floor is small but just adequate for two. Very squeaky floor boards through the kitchen /lounge area caused us concern for the accommodation below, but the folk staying there were not bothered. The bath room and toilet is on an even smaller scale, but designed well and was fine. We were comfortable and we enjoyed being there. The bedroom on the higher level was more difficult. The information about the venue is clear that the bedroom is an attic/loft room and that was fine, but we found that the only place to stand upright was at the top of the stairs. I am not disabled but at 73 I found that to mount a step of between 18 and 20 inches to reach the drawers and hanging space for clothes was too difficult ..... and not even a rail or handle to grip for assistance! I think it needs a little re- planning. The owners could not have been more welcoming or helpful and the location is excellent.

Family holiday to remember lovely cottage spent most evenings BBQ in great surroundings

5 of 5
There were seven of us 3 generations and all had a wonderful time, the cottage grounds are wonderful great facilities i actually liked having no mobile phone reception or Wifi at some points the family talked and played games like the old days the local pub had good menu and good food but we spent most evenings enjoying the weather the fantastic garden over a BBQ. The cottage has all the utensils and very comfortable for the family highly recommend I plan to go back again
