Better than the pictures. Beautiful

5 of 5
The flat is beautiful, bigger than expected and in a lovely quiet little town. Sarah was very thoughtful, she left us some fresh milk, chocolates, there was soap, shampoo, cooking oil, salt, sugar, coffee, tea, washing up liquid, detergent, etc. Everything you need, including a hairdryer. We used the oven, washing machine and dishwasher too, which was useful. The flat was very clean and I loved the decoration. All furniture, towels and sheets are good quality. There's a smart TV with Netflix, and there's WiFi connection, although the signal is not very strong and doesn't reach the bedrooms. Communication with Sarah was perfect, and there was plenty of information about what to do nearby. We especially enjoyed the Ullster steamers and visiting Kewsick. We would have liked to stay longer but were unable to. She supplied two cots for our children, which made things much simpler for us. My only recommendation is that there be a table cloth, which will keep things tidier (if you're travelling with children like we were), and maybe some drawers and more hangers for the clothes if staying for a longer time. We went shopping in Penrith, very close by, there are several shops. In Greystoke there was no reception on our phones (3 network) which made things tricky when we were trying to navigate using our phone GPS. We would definitely come again, we absolutely loved this little getaway, away from busy noisy London. Thank you Sarah

Awesome lodge and surroundings. Definitely true luxury

5 of 5
What a fabulous time away we have just had. We were blown away with the standard of the accommodation, the attention to detail and high quality of everything in the lodge. There were 4 of us – mum, aunt and daughters aged between 50 and 70 and we could not have asked for a more perfect, extremely comfortable holiday. Communication from the owners was exemplary and very helpful and the surrounding scenery was beautiful. (Sorry my sister used up all the nuts feeding the red squirrels every 5 minutes!) We will definitely return. One of the absolute best places we have ever stayed in. Definitely true luxury. Thank you for having us.
