We found everything we needed in the cottage and found the village and surrounding area to be a great place to visit.

  • Beautiful, historic ex-watermill set in breathtaking surroundings.

Our week at the property was during a week of heavy rain and storms. The house is warm and comfortable. We spent three days unable to tour and enjoyed 'staying in' with the fire roaring and reading. The grounds are lovely, only yards from the river. The small town of Betwys y Coed is literally 5 minutes walk away, but the house is set down a private road with no noise or impact from the town. The house is full of antique furniture which is what it should be. The property could have been cleaner and is in need of some TLC but none of that could detract from its historic beauty. The bedrooms are beautiful, especially the downstairs bedroom which was double height and was huge. Lovely stay and this property could be exceptional.
