  • Excellent property, very spacoius with beautiful surroundings and wildlife all around.

Very good experience. Loved the very spacious property especially the kitchen/dining area. Our party of thirteen did not feel in any way cramped and the large number of bathrooms was a great plus point. A tumble dryer would be a useful addition to the utility room as it is not always possible or practical to hang out clothes. The house is tastefully decorated but the light coloured carpets in all the rooms bar the kitchen and the hall meant that footwear had the be removed at all times and a recommendation to pack slippers would have been useful. Really enjoyed the lake and the wildlife, not forgetting the chickens. It is worth pointing out to potential customers that it is remote and you cannot stroll to the local shop or pub. Best advice is stock up well on day one and relax and enjoy the countryside and the peace and quiet.

  • Lovely big house - fun for all the family

The house is wonderfully big - 5 bedrooms of a good size. The bedroom I stayed in had a fantastic triple-wide bed which was great for my 2 year old who sleeps in the same bed as me as he could wriggle around without disturbing me. the beds were all really comfortable and I slept really well - better than I have since coming home in fact! The pool is a godsend in the hot weather - it was lovely to swim whenever we wanted. There is also a great trampoline set into the ground - which the kids loved. The gardens are great and enclosed - we did a mini treasure hunt in them. The house has two large sitting rooms, which my son called the movie room and the TV room! And there are four different tables you can sit and eat at big enough for everyone! If you want to venture out, there's not much nearby but we went to the Lavender farm which is about 40 mins away which has a soft play and animal park and Hunstanton beach - about 50 mins away. And the best day was at Roarr! a dinosaur adventure park near Norwich - well worth a day trip out. There's a lovely restaurant nearby called Biltons Eating House which was amazing if you want a special meal. Recommend the lobster. All in all - a great holiday - thanks x
